Liquid thermal conductivity of three biodiesel compounds: Methyl myristate, methyl laurate and methyl caprate

In order to provide the basic thermophysical property data for research of alternative clean fuels, liquid thermal conductivity methyl myristate, laurate and caprate which are considered as main compounds biodiesel was reported. The measurements three fatty acid esters, covering a temperature range from (292 372) K pressure up 15 MPa, have been performed by transient hot-wire technique with bare platinum hot wire. relative uncertainty experimental results estimated be ± 2.0% (in 0.95 confidence level). present were correlated polynomial function purpose interpolation.
